Squirrel Barn

Longborough
FROM £210
SLEEPS 4
Squirrel Barn is the perfect retreat for couples and groups of up to four guests. The barn has been sympathetically restored and still retains many of its original features including exposed beams and Cotswold stone walls.

On entering the cottage there is a fully equipped kitchen to the right hand side with built in fridge freezer, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. There is also a microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. The cupboards are stocked with crockery, cooking utensils and glasses if you decide to cook during your stay.

Just past the kitchen is a light and airy sitting room with seating for four guests around a cosy log burner.  We provide a basket of logs and some kindling to get you started.  From the living room there are double doors leading out onto a sunny, enclosed patio area perfect for alfresco dining and evening BBQs.

Upstairs the barn has a pretty master bedroom with a double bed, hanging rail and dressing table. We provide a hair dryer and straighteners....one less thing to pack. Bedroom one has a contemporary ensuite bathroom with walk in shower, wash basin and loo.
Bedroom two is at the top of the barn and boasts a king size bed and views over the roof tops of Longborough. There is a second bathroom on the first floor with a shower over a large bath.

The barn is pet friendly and we do have a high chair and travel cot should you wish to bring along babies and small children. We also provide crisp white linen and fluffy white towels.

What do our guests think?

"We had a super few days in the Cotswolds, staying at The Squirrel Barn, in the picturesque village of Longborough. The cottage was beautifully appointed, with a well equipped kitchen and contemporary bathrooms and good sized bedrooms. The location was ideal for getting to Stow on the Wold, the surrounding villages and beautiful country walks. Everywhere was very dog friendly too!"

"Gorgeous cottage in a beautiful and friendly Cotswold village. Well laid out, lots of space and comfortable bedrooms and clean spacious bathrooms. The wood burner was nice to warm us up in the evenings, and wood and lighters provided made it easy to set and use. The little extras provided by the hosts were very well received thank you, and the very well stocked village shop just down the road had everything else you could possibly need. Lovely little pub (Coach and Horses) at the end of the road too, which offer amazing food and a great atmosphere. Locals were so friendly, we will definitely be back.."
