Inside you’ll find the quaint exterior is hiding a gorgeous family home, with luxurious, characterful living space and a huge sociable kitchen-diner, whose flagstones lead out to the pretty courtyard. Upstairs you’ll find bedrooms for 6 people, each one full of the Cotswold history this cottage has seen.

“The Crook really has no right to be as spacious as it is - from the outside it looks so tiny! It’s such a lovely surprise to open the door and find that it just keeps on going.
Guests enjoy the sociable downstairs for their celebrations, but I love how restful the bedrooms are - and how the attic room is a real den for little ones!
Sheep Street is truly an iconic part of Stow that has seen hundreds and hundreds of years of history - I love that The Crook is truly a part of that.”

Location
Stow on the Wold is a historic market town that is beloved by locals and tourists alike. Winding streets lead to the wide open market place, and you’ll struggle to find another Cotswold town with as many great cafes, restaurants, pubs and independent shopping.
Stow is full of history, with ancient traditions like the driving of sheep down Sheep Street and a rich history from medieval times through the Civil War to today. If you look closely you’ll see this all around you, from the market square to the famous Yew tree door on the church.
Right on the Fosseway, Stow on the Wold is perfectly situated for visits to Daylesford and Cotswold Farm Park, as well as to other towns like Chipping Norton, Broadway and Moreton in Marsh. Nearby you’ll also find the villages of Bourton on the Water and the Guitings as well as lots of country walks.
