The crowds thin out, the villages go quiet, mist hangs in the hills and long shadows stretch across your dog walks. Plus, you get to come home and put your feet up in front of a real log fire. Winter is one of our favourite seasons in the Cotswolds.

Bringing the whole family? Several of our cottages sit within walking distance of each other in Bourton on the Water, making it easy to gather everyone together while still giving each family their own space. See our group accommodation options for larger festive gatherings.

Festive events - Christmas markets generally run during November and early December, with town Christmas lights switch ons usually at the end of November. Don't miss the Christmas tree in the middle of the river in Bourton on the Water!

Are your cottages warm and well-heated in winter?
Absolutely - all cottages have modern heating systems and central heating that will come on automatically in the morning and evenings, and you can control the temperature yourself. Nine cottages also have log burners.
Do you have any winter or off-season offers?
You'll find our very best prices online for mid-week stays October-March.
Are you open over Christmas and New Year?
Yes, and we would love to host your family over the Christmas period. These are especially popular dates so we recommend booking well in advance.
