Spacious Self-Catering for Large Group Holidays in the Cotswolds

The Cotswolds is the best place to make memories and bring a big group of loved ones together to celebrate. Whether you're bringing the generations together for a holiday, planning a milestone birthday, or gathering everyone for a reunion, we have cottages with all the space you could need.

Even if you don’t all fit under one roof, you can book several properties together so your whole group stays within easy walking distance of one another - and these cottages have breakfast available too!

Multi-Generational Family Holidays

Travelling with grandparents, parents, and children under one roof takes a bit more planning than a standard family holiday - everyone needs their own space to retreat to, as well as somewhere to come together. Sycamore House, our largest holiday home, sleeps up to 14 across 6 bedrooms, with a games room and hot tub to keep every generation entertained.

If you’d like more space, several of our cottages sleeping 6-8 sit close enough together in Bourton on the Water to book two side by side, giving each family their own front door while staying just a short walk apart.

Celebrations & Special Occasions

We love to host milestone birthdays, anniversaries, and family reunions, where your family make really meaningful memories together. There’s lots we can do, from room decorations, big shops and private catering, to make your celebration special.

You’ll also need a holiday cottage where everyone can gather without feeling like they're living on top of each other! Our larger properties, or combining several cottages, make it easy to host a proper celebration without needing to compromise on space or privacy.

Cotswold Wedding Party Accommodation

If you’re getting married in a Cotswolds barn or wedding venue, you’ll need somewhere for everyone to stay - whether the immediate wedding party or wider guests. Our cottages are ideal for wedding parties who want somewhere cosy and private to relax and get ready together before the big day, with gorgeous interiors that set the tone for your big day.

In Bourton on the Water, the wedding party and close family can stay just a few doors from one another and everyone has proper space to relax before and after the big day, with a sense of togetherness a hotel corridor just can't offer.

For your guests who are travelling to your wedding or simply want to stay somewhere nearby, we have cottages sleeping 4-14 people so they can get a group together to have somewhere beautiful to stay.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the largest single cottage you have?

Sycamore House in Bourton on the Water sleeps up to 14 guests across 6 bedrooms, making it our largest single property.

Can we book more than one cottage for the same dates?

Yes, several of our cottages in Bourton on the Water are within a few minutes' walk of each other, and for advance bookings we can accommodate groups of up to 70 people across multiple properties, including rooms at The Lansdowne B&B.

How far in advance do we need to book for a large group?

Depending on the season we will sometimes have availability last minute for larger cottages. If you want to book multiple cottages, we would recommend booking 2-3 months in advance.

Can I bring more guests than a cottage sleeps?

No, for insurance reasons, only the number of guests specified on each listing can stay in that cottage. Combining cottages, rather than overcrowding one, is the better option for larger groups.

Can you help us arrange private catering or special event additions?

We would love to! Whether you want the cottage decorated for your arrival, activities booked for you, a private chef arranged or anything else you can imagine, we’d love to make your stay memorable! Please contact us to discuss your celebration.
