Greystones Cottage

Cold Aston-Bourton on the Water
Cold Aston is the picturesque village you've never heard of, and right there just 3 miles from Bourton on the Water is the historic Greystones Cottage. This beautiful old barn is bursting with Cotswold charm and surrounded by scenic countryside to explore. Perfectly pet friendly with secure parking for 2 cars.
The cottage has been sympathetically restored to maintain so many of its original features with beamed ceilings and exposed Cotswold stone walls. It is the perfect location to relax and explore all that the Cotswolds has to offer.
 
Living Space

The original ingle nook fire place with wood burner is the warming focal point of the open plan sitting/dining room. Plush sofas surround the living room for chilled evenings in. The dining table is laid for any occasion with double doors leading to the beautiful cottage garden filled with mature roses and scented lavender. 
 
Kitchen

Fully stocked with crockery and glassware, fridge freezer, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine.

Ground floor bedroom

Double room with views over the garden. Dressing table, hairdryer and straighteners. There is a downstairs toilet and basin just down the hallway.

First Floor

Beautifully presented king size room with 300 year old beams and ensuite bathroom with a large tub to relax in. We include complimentary Cotswold Lavender bubble bath to soak away a long day.
Twin bedroom with lots of built in storage and extra travel cot for little people.

Family bathroom with walk in shower and separate free standing slipper bath. Plenty of soft, fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries.

The Area

You will be completely  surrounded by stunning countryside. Make the time to walk over to the village of Notgrove along the old Roman pathways. The village hub (The Nuttery)  is an excellent place for a hearty meal and to cuddle their resident pot bellied pigs.
Bourton on the Water is a 5 minute drive away and has something for all the family. An excellent model village, pubs and restaurants straddling the river Windrush, Dragon fly maze for little ones and quirky shops for last minute gifts.
