Open the door on the most photogenic house in Stow...

Coniston House is an iconic building in Stow on the Wold, with its grand frontage, heritage green door and classic red phonebox right outside. But most people don’t see just how good it is inside…
Recently refurbished throughout, Coniston House is at the height of luxury cottage interiors. Exposed stonework, beams criss-crossing the rooms, characterful window seats; all set off with luxurious textiles and facilities.
The house is so good we needed something to tear you away into the garden - there you’ll find an eco wood-fired hot tub for the ultimate relaxation.

Why I love this Cottage Gem
"There is so much to love about Coniston House, it’s a real jewel in our crown. But underneath all the original features and luxurious touches, I keep coming back to the feeling a house gives you.
When you first walk through the door at Coniston House, you really do feel like you own a 300 year old Cotswold cottage. It’s like the house welcomes you and chooses you, no matter how short your stay.
Outside too this a real Cotswold oasis, with a beautiful secluded garden and wood fired hot tub, with all the benefits of being right in the heart of this thriving town."

Location
Stow on the Wold is a historic market town that is beloved by locals and tourists alike. Winding streets lead to the wide open market place, and you’ll struggle to find another Cotswold town with as many great cafes, restaurants, pubs and independent shopping.
Stow is full of history, with ancient traditions like the driving of sheep down Sheep Street and a rich history from medieval times through the Civil War to today. If you look closely you’ll see this all around you, from the market square to the famous Yew tree door on the church.
Right on the Fosseway, Stow on the Wold is perfectly situated for visits to Daylesford and Cotswold Farm Park, as well as to other towns like Chipping Norton, Broadway and Moreton in Marsh. Nearby you’ll also find the villages of Bourton on the Water and the Guitings as well as lots of country walks.
