This time last year the world was just about to endure a global pandemic with experts and scientists quick to come up with short term, drastic solutions. One of the hardest hit industries was the tourism and hospitality sector. We have lost so many of our high street shops, pubs and restaurants.
The government support and furlough scheme was a helping hand but came no where close to the revenues that most businesses would have generated last year.
Twelve months on and we can finally see the end in sight. Months of lock downs, social distancing and wearing face coverings has eased the strain on the NHS and everyone has done such a fabulous job of staying safe through what have been unprecedented times. The roll out of the vaccination program has bought so much hope to those desperate to see friends and family, for businesses who cannot wait to open their doors and for health workers who won't have to endure 14 hour shifts covered up in PPE watching the virus rip through communities.
What are we doing to help?
Cotswold Cottage Gems want to ensure that all of our guests feel safe and confident to book with us for their Summer holiday.
We have taken the following steps to ensure all of our properties are guest ready and adhere to all recent government guidelines.
-All staff have been trained in Environmental cleaning during the Covid-19 outbreak and have been awarded certificates which are displayed in all of our properties.
-All linens are washed at 60 degrees.
-All soft furnishings are disinfected with Dettol anti viral misting treatment.
-We have allowed extra time for servicing each cottage so that all touch points and high traffic areas can be sanitised.
-Complimentary hand sanitisers on arrival.
-Flexible booking options and fully refundable policy for bookings affected by a UK National lockdown.
-Contactless payments, check in and check out.
