We've listed some of our favourite dog walks in the Cotswolds, below, so why not choose your cottage and get planning your dog walk and take in the splendour the Cotswolds has to offer.
Bourton-on-the-Water to The Slaughters circular
If you are staying at one of our Bourton-on-the-Water cottages then we have the perfect walk for you and your dog.

It's a lovely circular route which takes you from Bourton-on-the-Water to Lower Slaughter.
It's a great place to stop off for a drink or 2 at the Lower Slaughter Inn before making your way back to your cottage for a cosy evening.


Nether Westcote to Bledington
Our next beautiful walks takes you from Nether Westcote to Bledington.
Start at The Feathered Nest car park and head down the bridal way.
You can go cross country all the way to Bledington church and are guaranteed to see an abundance of wildlife, such as foxes, rabbits, hares, red kites, woodpeckers, wild deer.
The staff in the Kings Head at Bledington have a stash of dog treats on hand for 4 legged visitors.
Longborough to Bourton-on-the-Hill circular
For a slightly longer route, go from Longborough to Bourton-on-the-Hill.
It is a beautiful, leisurely walk with minimal elevation so you can take it as steady as you want whilst admiring the countryside with your dog.

You also pass by Sezincote House and Gardens which is stunning any time of the year.
If you would like a tipple, then The Horse and Groom on the Hill is one of the best places for a Guinness by the log burner.


Kineton Circular
This gentle walk is mostly quiet country lanes with a Ford for the dogs to play on if they like the water.
You can start near Guiting Power and walk all the way past Guiting Wood before making your way back towards Kineton.
There are several excellent pubs in the nearby area for a pit stop, including The Hollow Bottom and the Halfway at Kineton.
Woodland walk near Stroud
For a proper woodland walk we love starting at The Fostons Ash on the B4070 near Stroud.
It is smack bang on the Cotswolds way and there are miles of scenic woodlands to explore.
As all good walks should, this one also boasts an excellent pub.
The Fostons Ash does incredible food and has a resident pub dog who won’t hesitate to join you at the table.
You can park in their car park to start the walk.
